Greetings. I am Megatron, leader of the Decepticon resistance faction on Cybertron. We stand for justice, freedom and eventual peace against the evil forces of Optimus Prime and his Autobots. I once led a quiet life, giving lectures at a well known university in Polyhex. Sadly, it became apparent to me through my studies that civil war was inevitable on Cybertron, but no one took me seriously until Optimus Prime took it upon himself to introduce the concept of advancement through conflict, effectively destroying the peace and order across the planet. Though my invention of transformation ability helped us gain a foothold against the Autobots, we are still struggling battle by battle to keep Cybertron from falling into complete chaos and darkness.

Optimus Prime must be stopped, no matter the cost!


OOC: This version of Megatron is from shortly after the end of the Shattered Glass comic, just after the Decepticons foiled the launch of the Autobot Ark. Megatron is sometimes accompanied by the Constructicons' diagnostic drone so that it can gather data for use by the Decepticon scientists. It has a female voice and has been affectionately named "Flit", though it has no ember of its own. It is merely a very intelligent AI. (The existence of the drone is canon, the name and "gender" assigned are of the mun's own creation.)
